What is Mediation?

Mediation is used to resolve conflicts between two or more parties when the parties cannot find common ground on their own.  Resolution negotiations are facilitated by a mediator (disinterested third party) in a completely voluntary and confidential process.  Mediation is commonly used to address disputes involving monetary issues but can also be used to resolve issues in the workplace or disputes among family members.

Mediation is much more economical than litigation and puts both parties in a position to win.  Litigation will incur court costs and legal fees which can certainly add up in a short amount of time.  Litigation can also leave one with nothing since one party will win and the other will lose.  With mediation, both parties stand to gain without incurring expensive legal fees to work out the resolution.

If you have a dispute with another party, give me a call.  Mediation may very well be the best solution for you.  I will be more than happy to talk to you and answer any question you may have.  Feel free to contact me by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
