Since 2008, Real Estate Agents have been going through difficult times just as real estate consumers. The number of real estate agents between 2008 and 2009 have decreased by nearly 15% nationwide. Lower home values means less commission for agents. The average income for agents last year fell 17% to $35,700 with Broker's earning an average ofTax Credit Extended for Some!
The $8,000 tax credit has been extended until April 30, 2011 for Service Members. Due to our service members being deployed and not able to take advantage of the tax credit, service members will get an extra year.
